Discord

The Discord integration allows your Shawer bot to respond to messages in Discord servers.

Coming Soon — This integration is currently under development. The configuration page is available in the dashboard but the full setup is not yet active.

What to expect

When available, the Discord integration will allow you to:

• Add your Shawer bot to Discord servers
• Respond to direct messages and channel mentions
• Use the same knowledge base and behavior rules as all other channels
• Track Discord conversations in your analytics dashboard

Preparation

While the integration is not yet active, you can prepare by:

1. Creating a Discord application at the Discord Developer Portal
2. Creating a bot user within the application
3. Saving the Bot Token — you will need it when the integration launches
4. Deciding which servers and channels the bot should have access to
